Revenue Streams

Cyberpunk City generates revenue through a variety of in-game purchases and player transactions, allowing players to enhance their gameplay experience while supporting the game’s economy. Revenue is generated both in USD (non-web3 items) and CYB token equivalents for web3 assets, providing a flexible entry point for players of all backgrounds.

  1. In-Game Item Sales: Players can purchase character skins, vehicle skins, and other unique cosmetic items within the game. Non-web3 items can be purchased in USD, while web3 items are available for CYB tokens at a 10% discounted rate, incentivizing the use of CYB within the ecosystem.

  2. Character and Vehicle Sales: Exclusive character models and vehicle skins are available for purchase, giving players the chance to personalize their experience. These items are tradeable within the Marketplace, encouraging player-driven demand and value appreciation.

  3. Battle Pass Revenue: Each season, players can purchase a Battle Pass that offers access to exclusive rewards, including NFTs, CYB tokens, and experience boosts. The Battle Pass provides ongoing engagement and encourages regular play, contributing to both player retention and revenue.

  4. TAX Wallet Mechanism: All revenue generated from in-game sales is funneled into a TAX Wallet, which consolidates income from non-web3 and CYB-based transactions. This wallet is periodically distributed according to the following allocations:

  • Megacorps (30%): Reserved for in-game factions, helping balance gameplay and maintain in-game economic systems.

  • Operators (10%): Distributed among active players, rewarding those who contribute to the game through engagement and achievements.

  • Treasury (40%): Supports future game development, maintenance, and expansion initiatives.

  • Play2Earn (10%): Incentivizes players with additional earning opportunities, encouraging ongoing engagement and rewarding player activity.

  • Token Staking Boost (10%): Used for token buybacks and boosting staking rewards, supporting CYB token stability and providing incentives for long-term holders.

This revenue distribution model aligns player incentives with the game’s economic health, reinvesting income into community rewards, ecosystem growth, and token stability.
